Large antique Victorian Era locket - Of 14K gold (acid tested but there are no metal purity or maker's marks). Decorated with an ornate monogram of the initials WCS, the interior is deep enough for small keepsakes or pills. The pendant hangs from a keystone shaped hook style bail so the locket can be worn on a sash as well.

Antique, pre-owned, as found condition with appropriate patina and expected wear such as minor surface scratches. There are small dings / dents to the reverse and side of the case. A slight gap at the top does not prevent the locket from closing securely.
Lines or spots in the photos, other than described, are reflections of lighting fixtures or surrounding objects.
A note about polishing - As collectors of vintage and antique items often value the time imparted patina on metal surfaces, we will leave it to you to decide its appearance. We may lightly polish an area of a piece if tarnish conceals metal purity or makers' marks.
