Decorative flue covers were used to hide the unsightly openings. Most that I have seen were made in Germany, and popular images depicted women and children. Some were embellished with glitter, and sometimes the glass was painted on the reverse.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eApproximately 7 3\/4\" diameter\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe back painted glass and print are in very good condition.
